You see so clearly
That which should be noticed
Saving still-fluttering moments
On paper, preserved intact forever
Each stilled happening, perfect.
I talk to you of shedding the snake's skin
    of a land life
And walking into the sea
Your company awakens me
Like the tug of currents
You invite me out of my perceived
    backwater eddies and riptides
With open hand, laughing
And grant me
My own limitlessness
With such unconscious grace
I admire you without envy
And love you as the element
    I was born to.
